These photos were taken during the last visit to my Ah Ma's place, during the Chinese New Year. My Ah Ma's house is a kampong-style attap house, located inside a fishing village. My favourite photo is perhaps the photo where the Mazu (妈祖) goddess overlooks the sea. As said by my mum, the statue was erected this way so as to bless the fishermen out on the sea.
