At work

Today, at work, I witnessed something I wished I didn't see.

Japanese lady: Hey, where is Jumbo?
My manager: This is Long Beach.
Japanese lady: Oh...where is Jumbo?
My manager: I don't know.

And, Jumbo is situated just beside us. Why didn't my manager just tell the lady that Jumbo is right beside us? Why did he had to resort to do something like that? This is so wrong, isn't it?

Sigh, I feel sad just rewinding the scene in my mind.
